What to consider
Incorrect dimensions, running direction or support can reduce life and safety. Confirm the machine specification.
Catalogue range and selection
- The metal sanding range includes BORA 7 ceramic belts and PZ533 zirconia belts. Choose according to workpiece material, operating pressure and required finish.
- Measuring an endless sanding belt: measure its width and total circumference. If measured laid flat, double its folded length. State width first, for example 600 × 2,200 mm.
- For an order, provide width × length, workpiece, machine, grit and quantity. Pages 52, 54 and 55 cover joint types, minimum quantities by width and ordering instructions.
